Sustainability and Technical Approach

Our sustainable and technical approach to building and design is driving positive change in the construction industry, changing the way we refurbish, and minimising environmental impact and maximising efficiency. By combining innovative technologies, renewable materials, and forward-thinking design principles, we are making a profound impact on both the present and the future.

One of the key outcomes of our approach is the significant reduction in carbon emissions throughout the building lifecycle. Through the integration of renewable energy systems, energy-efficient materials, and smart building technologies, we are drastically lowering the carbon footprint of our structures. By embracing sustainable practices, we are actively combating climate change and promoting a greener future for generations to come.

Furthermore, our technical approach to building and design enhances the overall efficiency and performance of our structures. We leverage cutting-edge technologies, such as building information modelling (BIM), enegage new artificial intelligence (AI), and automation, to optimise resource utilisation, streamline construction processes, and minimise waste. This not only improves project timelines and cost-effectiveness but also ensures that our designs are durable, resilient, and adaptable to evolving needs.

Beyond environmental considerations, our approach also prioritises the well-being and comfort of occupants. We carefully design to promote natural lighting, ventilation, and ergonomic features, fostering healthier and more productive environments. By integrating green spaces and biophilic design elements, we enhance the connection between people and the outside space, improving mental well-being and fostering a sense of harmony.

NEW AND RETROFIT

The Buildings we live and works in are responsible for forty percent of global carbon emissions. The world needs new building with higher environmental standards as well as retrofit solutions in order to meet Net Zero targets. Through our design work we can measure the embodied savings (build) and operation savings (year on year).

CARBON IMPACT

Our designers believe client solutions need to incorporate environmental systems for sustainable buildings. Net zero is required by 2050.Our design ambitions intend to achieve these goals through a series of realistic and stepping stone. It is not always as fast as any of us like so it must be further integrated into our planning, designs, innovations and approach.

ENVIRONMENT, SOCIAL AND GOVERNANCE

The focus is to drive down energy consumption by implementing carbon management plans for business travel and procurement, collectively targeting the whole-life carbon emission. It is taken seriously but out management and our partners, and review every year and for every project.
